Music & Movement 4-6 years
Wed. 3:45-4:30 PM
Service Description
In early musical education, also known as early childhood education, children can gain their first experiences with music – they build their own instruments, learn to play them and others, and move freely and independently to music. Key aspects are summarized: singing, dance and movement, instrumental knowledge, listening to music together, elementary instrumental playing, ear training, music theory, and improvisation. The Music & Movement course is suitable for children ages 4-6 and up without an accompanying adult. Classes do not take place during school holidays or on public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia. Students at the International Music School receive 36 teaching units per school year, regardless of the day of the week they attend. An overview of holiday dates and bridge days can be found on the music school's website under "Downloads".
